The Child Nutrition Program Orange juiceserves nutritious, appetizing, and affordable meals to students. The administration believes that good nutrition is the key to learning and every child has the right to a nutritious breakfast and lunch at the lowest possible price.

The department provides an extensive selection of nutritious meals at all schools. The General fund supplements the Child Nutrition Program from local revenue to cover salary and benefits. In addition, the General Fund's MFP appropriation to the program, far exceeds the amount required by the State Department of Education. Through a USDA Breakfast Grant, we are able to offer a free breakfast to all students.
